Explore, Choose, and Pin Models on Every Plan
While Auto Mode (🧠), Eco Mode (🌿), and Max Mode (🔥) handle routing automatically across your tier's intelligence pool, ARMES is designed for exploration and direct control.
On every subscription tier — including the Free plan — you can open the Mode Selector in the top right of any chat surface to see how many models and AI labs are on the platform, browse models by laboratory, and manually select or pin any model unlocked in your tier's pool.
Where to Find the Mode Selector
The Mode Selector sits in the top-right corner of the chat header across both primary workspace surfaces:
- Standalone Chat (
/chat): In the top-right header of the conversation view. - Command Center (
/command): In the top-right header of the Chat Tab inside the center panel.
How to Manually Select or Pin a Model
- Open any conversation in Chat (
/chat) or in a center-panel Chat Tab in Command Center (/command). - Click the Mode Selector in the top-right corner of the chat header (which displays your current mode, such as Auto, Eco, Max, or a pinned model name).
- Browse the multi-lab catalog by AI Laboratory (OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceXSI, DeepSeek, Meta, Mistral, Qwen, and more) to see all models available on the platform and which ones are unlocked in your tier pool.
- Click any unlocked model to pin it to the conversation. The model's name and lab badge will appear in the top-right Mode Selector.
- Switch Anytime Mid-Conversation: You can switch from one model to another—or switch back to Auto Mode (
🧠), Eco Mode (🌿), or Max Mode (🔥)—on any turn without losing conversation history, memory, or attached context.
How Modes & Model Pools Scale Across Tiers
Every ARMES tier includes Auto Mode, Max Mode, and Manual Model Pinning, while Eco, Pro, and Ultra also unlock Eco Mode (🌿) and progressively larger pools of models:
Unified Mode Selector Across All Agents
Every agent displays Auto, Max, and Eco in its top-right Mode Selector. Because the Mode Selector and routing engine automatically use your active subscription tier, your tier's Auto Mode, Max Mode, Eco Mode, and unlocked manual model pool follow you across every agent you use.
