Projects as a Workstream Lens
If you manage multiple clients, companies, or personal projects, mixing context across conversations quickly leads to cognitive clutter and accidental information bleed.
In ARMES, a Project acts as a focused workstream lens. Rather than requiring multiple accounts or cumbersome workspace switching, Projects allow your agents to filter their focus instantly while maintaining access to your core workspace.

Two Core Concepts: Lens vs. Visibility
Understanding the relationship between the active Project and item visibility is simple:
- Active Project (Where You Are Standing): The project currently selected in the top navigation switcher. When you are in Project Alpha, the sidebar only displays chats, notes, and files associated with Project Alpha or items not assigned to a project at all (All Projects).
- Per-Item "Visible In" (Where the Item Lives): Every chat, note, folder, file, and prompt template has a Visible In property. An item can belong to a specific project or be set to "All Projects" so it is always accessible regardless of your current lens.
What Gets Scoped by a Project?

Setting Up Your First Project
- Click the Project Switcher dropdown in the top application header (or open your profile menu and select Projects).
- Click Create Project, enter a name (e.g., Acme Corp Rebrand), an optional description, and select a color accent.
- Switch your active lens anytime using the header dropdown or Command Center view.
- Open Settings to configure dedicated custom instructions per project (Global and per agent):
